I still have so many updates to give you guys!

The WCBF went off without a hitch, and I told Keith that if it goes this well every year, I would be a very happy producer.

There are so many people to thank - we really had a great team this year, and so many people who really went above and beyond, including Kriss Abigail who is so responsible and self-motivated that we get twice as much done as we would without her. Paprika Ame for bringing the delicious homemade goodies to the workshops! All of our vixens for really stepping up the game, with a particular thanks to Cherry Brandi & Trixie Sparx who were humble and enthusiastic enough to step in at the last minute! Melissa (AKA Bandit) for teching 4 shows in 4 hours with far more grace than I'd have had! April for being so easy-going and quick to mobilize when something goes wrong. Volunteers like Matt Leuck and Sofi Minx who ran around like crazy but still asked if they could do more at the end of the night - and truly, really all of our volunteers, who were capable, fast, and sexy!

With the WCBF completed, I'm free to start working on our studio - no small feat, but a task I'm savoring in every way. Vaudezilla has really hustled, upping the game in the last year, and this space is an indulgent but well-deserved gift to our team and a love letter to the great community from which we came.

I'm really hoping to get in there and clean tomorrow, but this week has just gotten away from me! Even if I can just spare an hour or two, I'd feel good about it. Contractors come in on Friday to knock out some counters, and hopefully we'll have contractors scheduled for early/mid April to mount mirrors on both sides of the walls, so it's a really swank space.

Things are truly looking up in every way, and I'm very grateful for all of the people in my life who've believed in us and become part of our dream by supporting it. Thank you. Looking forward to opening Vaudezilla Studios to the public in May 2011!

Bandit here just wants to say that running a tight ship was made easy by two things: A: My BS in Theatre Production and B: My heartfelt desire to please the ladies. ^.^

When you want to deck out the space, or need silly maintenance things (like handrails, or changing lightbulbs and such ) let me know. I've been itching to do some larger-scale art/deco, and if this is a rehearsal and performance space I would love to be a part of the design of it all.
Ahhhhhhh its soooo exciting! Its always so inspiring to see companies like this grow and sink their roots all over town.

Oh, I will definitely let you know. The studio is in really good condition, so I doubt we'll have much maintenance or building to do, but if we do, I'll let you know! ;)
